On the 20th October there was a large scale flood in the village, comparable in volume to the 2007 floods. Villagers including parish councillors worked tirelessly clearing and sweeping areas to minmise damage. The parish council arrangged a multi agency meeting following the floods with Warwickshire County Council and Highways to assess the damage. There has been a schedule of repairs made and jetting of drains to try and prevent any further damage. The County Council will be writing to all affected properties soon. The Parish Council are also in the process of purchasing flood sacks for the village.
